Per gli animi più rock e street style di stagione la londinese casa di moda(Burberry) ha rivisitato un classico delle sue linee -la biker jacket- riproponendolo con toni molto più aggressivi grazie al largo impiego di borchie lungo tutta la giacca. Perfette per la city di giorno ma comunque immancabili nel guardaroba serale le giacche borchiate sono il recente must-have delle più promettenti star che lo usano praticamente per tutto(anche se per fare la spesa resta comunque un pò troppo eccessivo).
E per chi non ha paura di osare troppo un consiglio è di applicare qualche borchia poco accuminata sulle spalline dei blazer o meglio ancora delle camicie denim così da mettere in risalto la struttura stessa del capo e delle vostre spalle!
E se proprio non avete idea di che scarpe abbinare a un capo del genere, sappiate che qualsiasi decoltè è perfetta; se invece si vuole stare ton sur ton consiglio queste incredibili Louboutin borchiate facimente rintracciabili anche sul web.

For the more soul rock and street's style of the season, the London fashion house (Burberry) has revisited a classic piece of its lines- the biker-jacket- raised with much more aggressive tone thanks to extensive use of studs along the jacket. Perfect for the city by day but inevitable in the evening wardrobe the studded jackets are the latest must-have of the most promising stars who use it for practically everything (even if for shopping is still a bit too excessive). 

And for those who are not afraid to dare too much advice is to stick some little stud on the sharp shoulder of the blazer, or preferably, denim shirts so as to enhance the structure of the dress and of your shoulders!

Esser perfetti ogni qual volta si esce di casa è per i più un impresa, c'è chi, invece, di questo ne ha fatto un vera e propria fede..ogni dettaglio deve esser curato fino nei minimi dettagli dai toni, alla lunghezza all linee, agli stili. Per qualcuno tutto questo potrebbe spaventare ma come oper ogni cosa basta impegnarsi a dovere e dopo un pò di tempo il tutto sembrerà meno faticoso e più divertente.

Vi posterò una sola immagine (anche perchè basta e avanza!) di queste incredibili decoltè firmate Yves Saint Laurent ormai evergreen di qualsiasi stagione (purchè all'insegna della mondanità)! A impressionare non è tanto la scarpa in sè quanto la linea perfetta del tacco e del platform incorporato, che consentono di slanciare il piede e di conseguenza l'intera shilouette quasi fossero calzate da una ballerina.

I'll post one picture (because more than enough!) of these incredible decoltè signed Yves Saint Laurent evergreen all year round now (as long as the banner of social life)! To impress is not the shoe itself as the perfect line of the heel and the platform built to help propel the foot and thus the entire shilouette as if they were worn by a dancer.

Rodarte dress a black swan

Vedere Natalie Portman che riesce a flettere il suo corpo così sinuosamente quasi fosse una etoile del bolhsoi interpretando uno dei ruoli più drammatici (e difficili) della danza classica è stata un' esperienza già di per se affascinante...se questa poi è contornata dalla presenza di uno dei fashion brands più promettenti della mode d'oltreoceano il tutto potrebbe dirsi, a questo punto, perfetto.
Non fosse altro che Aronofsky(il regista) ha chiesto una collaborazione per quanto riguarda i costumi della ballerina in questione direttamente a Rodarte (creata e gestita con tanta maestria dalle sorelle Kate e Laura Mulleavy) ormai nota per i deliziosi vestiti "da favola" che ogni anno propone, riuscendo pienamente, per quanto mi riguarda, a rappresentare un cigno incantato.
Ecco qui le bozze per i due tutù, quello del cigno bianco e quello del cigno nero, che hanno conferito all'insieme un tocco di magia ed eleganza ormai rari nella danza.

See Natalie Portman who can bend his body sinuously as though it were an etoile of bolhsoi interpreted one of the most dramatic (and difficult) role of the classical dance was an 'experience already enchanting itself ... if this is then surrounded by presence of one of the most promising brands of the fashion trends from overseas the whole thing could be said, at this point, perfect. 

The thing is that Aronofsky (director) had called in question for a collaboration for the costumes of the dancer directly to Rodarte (created and managed with great skill by sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy) well known for its delicious clothes "fabulous" that each year, proposals, a complete success, for me, to be an enchanted swan.

Here are two drafts for the tutu, the white swan and the black swan, which both gave to the whole a touch of magic and elegance now rare in the dance.

 

 

 

 

A step into Kirkwood dream

Sebbene dopo il "Diavolo veste Prada" quasi tutti hanno potuto conoscere o almeno sentito nominare le fantomatiche Manolo Blahnik, e lo stesso è accaduto per le Jimmy Choo o le Christian Laboutin fotografate, invece, ai piedi delle più svariate star o starlette, che dir si voglia (altrimenti guardatevi tutte le puntate di Sex and the City che fa lo stesso), nessuno è riuscito a far breccia nel cuore delle donne così velocemente come Nicholas Kirkwood con le sue deliziose creazioni.
Questi vertiginosi gioielli, infatti, sembrano uscite da qualche libro di fate: sexy sì ma sempre con quel tocco stravagante e quasi surreale che le connota a pieno titolo come scarpe-scultura (o nel caso anche tacco-scultura), perfette per una gran serata o un cocktail party - un pò meno per affrontare il caos giornaliero-.
Le sue creazioni sono riuscite ad affascinare anche designer come Rodarte (su cui presto pubblicherò un apposito post) o Erdem che ormai da qualche tempo a questa parte ne richiedono la collaborazione.

Keep in touch with Colour Blocking

La primavera, si sa, porta con se i colori migliori, ma mai come quest'anno colori sgargianti ricopriranno i nostri corpi! Come?
Grazie alla tecnica del Colour Bloking, in breve: abbinate capi con colori dalle forti tonalià in modo che sia ben visibile li stacco cromatico tra una veste e l'altra (giacca verde smerallo con camicia blu notte e pantaloni giallo acceso). In un primo istante può sembrare una scelta azzardata ma le maison (ne sono un esempio Jil Sander e Gucci) hanno puntato tutto su questo nuovo "modus abbinandi" e sinceramente sembra davvero che funzioni!! Quindi prima regola per il nuovo guardaroba sarà: più colour-blocking e meno ton sur ton!

Spring, you know, brings with it the best colors, but never like this year bright colours will cover our bodies bright colours! How? 
Thanks to the technique of Colour Bloking, in short, you have to match items with strong color tones so that it is clearly visible the chromatic contrast between them (smerallo green jacket with dark blue shirt and yellow pants on). In a first moment can seem like a risky choice, but the maison (like for example Jil Sander and Gucci) have staked everything on this new "modus abbinandi" really and truly seems that it works! So the first rule for the new wardrobe will be: more color-blocking and less ton sur ton!

Best dresses at the Academy Award's ceremony

Di solito la magnifica notte degli Oscar, per il mondo del fashion che sta a guardare, si tramuta in un grande disastro. Tutta colpa dell' "dress-code" d'occasione che prevede un abito lungo e non troppo esagerato (con riferimento a Lady Gaga) per le donne e un rigoroso smocking (preferibilmente nero, ma ai cantanti come Prince è permessa l'eccezione) per il genere maschile. Tutto ciò si traduce in un' insolita Disney Parade in cui le donne gareggiano per il posto di principessa della notte (alla Bonham Carter, purtroppo, in questi casi, è sempre affidato il ruolo della strega malefica) sfoggiando abiti quanto mai sdolcinati ed esageratamente fastosi - manco dovessero aprir le danze di qualche Galà -. Per fortuna in tutta questa gozzoviglia di strass, seta, paillettes, raso, ruches e diamanti ogni anno qualcuna ci azzecca pure a sceglier l'abito più adatto al suo corpo, salvando così l'intero red carpet.

Quest'anno, lasciando pur stare la comunque bellissima Natalie Portman (sempre impeccabile qualsiasi veste ella indossi) il premio come miglior vestito della serata se lo aggiudica Hilary Swank, che con un bellissimo abito di Gucci Premiére incrostato di paillettes color grigio e terminante in un' ampia coda piumata è riuscita a incantare anche i fashionisti più scettici.

Usually the magnificent Oscar night, for the world of fashion that watch the event, turns into a big disaster. Lay the blame on the 'dress-code "of circumstance that provides a long dress and not too excessive (with reference to Lady Gaga) for women and a tight smocking (preferably black, but for singers like Prince an exception is allowed) to the male gender. This results in an 'unusual Disney Parade in which women compete for the position of princess of the night (to Bonham Carter, unfortunately in these cases, it is always assigned the role of the evil witch) showing off clothes very mushy and overly pompous - as if they open some of the dances Gala -. Fortunately, in all this revelry of rhinestones, silk, sequins, satin, ruffles and diamonds every year someone guesses well as to choose the most suitable dress to her body, thus saving the whole red carpet. 

This year, however, leave for a while the beautiful Natalie Portman (perfect with everything she wear) the prize for best dressed of the evening goes to Hilary Swank, who with a beautiful Gucci Premiére embrodered with sequins Premiére gray and ending in a large plumed tail is able to enchant even the most skeptical fashionistas.
